- Establish a Joint Delivery Unit with Essex County Council and deliver the actions in the Team Colchester Business Plan.
- Continue to deliver the Town Deal and Levelling Up projects (over £40m investment) to improve the lives of residents and support businesses.
- Support and work with key business partnerships such as Colchester's Business Improvement District (BID), Colchester's Ambassadors, and many others.
- Commence Review of our Economic Strategy ready for renewal in 2026.
- Conduct a review of the shared delivery strategy in Colchester Northern Gateway.
- Fit For the Future: Explore the opportunities for a shared approach to Economic Growth and infrastructure work with North Essex Councils and North Essex Economic Board partners. Appoint joint Economic Growth post with Braintree Council to support business engagement.
