REASON FOR INQUIRY - Appeal by Bloor Homes (Eastern)

Relating to the application to Colchester Borough Council for Redevelopment of 165 dwellings (including affordable housing), car park, public open space, landscaping, children’s play area, sustainable drainage infrastructure and all other associated infrastructure (LPA Ref: 250435) 

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold this Public Inquiry as an in-person event opening at 10am, Tuesday 17 March 2026 in The Old Library, Colchester Town Hall, 65 West Stockwell Street, Colchester, CO1 1PJ. 

 It’s programmed to sit for 6 days, hence finishing on Wednesday 25 March 2026.
