Park and Charge with MiPermit

Use the MiPermit app to pay for parking and charge your electric vehicle in one transaction.

MiPermit Park + Charge combines electric vehicle charging with the existing cashless parking service.

You can also use the app to check whether a charging point is available by searching for its MiPermit location number.

Available locations

MiPermit Park + Charge charging points are available at Priory Street Car Park.

How it works

  1. Scan the NFC tag, QR code or App Clip on the charging point, or search for the location code in the MiPermit app.
  2. Enter your vehicle details and confirm that you want to charge your electric vehicle.
  3. Select the charging point you are using and how long you want to park and charge.
  4. Make the payment through the app.
  5. When the app connects to the charging point, plug in your vehicle and start charging.
  6. To end the charging session and disconnect your vehicle, follow your vehicle’s instructions for stopping a charge.
  7. You will be charged for the Park + Charge session the following day.

How much it costs

Park + Charge is available for up to four hours and costs £0.25 per kWh.

Standard parking charges also apply. The maximum charging capacity of each charging point is 22kW.
