Clear recycling bag deliveries have begun in Colchester. Households that have a kerbside paper and plastics recycling collection will receive their roll of bags by the end of March, with each of the 75,000 homes receiving one roll of 62 clear bags to make recycling simple and convenient.
Recycling changes
This update follows the council’s recent announcement about changes to recycling and waste collections. While the new service begins later this year, clear bags for recycling will continue to be used for paper and plastic until residents receive their new bins. Residents can read more about the upcoming service changes here.
