The great majority of our funding comes from government grants and income we earn.
Funding includes:
- Housing Benefit subsidy, fees and charges and other income: £90.3 million
- Council Tax: £15.1 million
- Business Rates: £8.9 million
- Government grant / reserves: £4.8 million
- New Homes Bonus: £0.7 million
Fees and charges are for specific services and provide income for the council. New Homes Bonus funding is for building new homes locally.
