Championing the young people of Colchester, we have joined forces with the Essex Youth Service in a bid to refurbish three pivotal youth centres, fostering spaces where young individuals can come together and thrive.
With a focus on cultivating welcoming, inclusive, and secure environments, the rejuvenation plans for Highwoods Youth Centre, Stanway Youth Centre, and the city centre Townhouse have been crafted with input from young people, ensuring that their desires and requirements are central to the design.
All three centres are slated to undergo significant enhancements by the end of 2025, with a substantial sum of £1.3 million secured from government grants.
