Young people and families across Colchester are being reminded that Youth Fest returns next week, bringing a day of free activities and entertainment to the city centre.
Taking place on Tuesday 4 August from 11am to 3pm, the event will give young people the chance to try something new and discover activities in the local community.
Working together for young people
Delivered by the Colchester Community Safety Partnership, Youth Fest provides a welcoming space for young people to get active, get creative and connect with local organisations and services.
Cllr David King, Deputy Leader of the Council and Portfolio Holder for Communities and Public Protection, said: "We're looking forward to welcoming young people from across Colchester to Youth Fest next week.
"It's a fantastic opportunity to have fun, try something new, from music to skateboarding and art to sport. We'd encourage young people and families to come along, make the most of everything on offer and find out what's available locally."
