Booking times
You can book an inspection for the next working day if we receive your request before 2pm, Monday to Friday, subject to availability.
Book by 2pm on Friday for a Monday inspection.
We cannot offer same-day or timed appointments.
Book by phone
You can also call 01206 282436 between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday.
Before you book
Have your application reference number ready. You can find it in your validation pack or other correspondence from us.
When booking through the app, include the name and contact number of the person who will be on site in the further information box.
Give as much notice as possible for time-sensitive work, such as pouring concrete.
Request a call before the inspection
You can ask the Building Control Inspector to call you 30 to 60 minutes before they expect to arrive.
This does not guarantee a specific arrival time, but it can give you time to prepare for the visit.
