Parish elections are scheduled for Thursday 7 May 2026 across the Colchester City Council area in the following parishes, Abberton & Langenhoe, Birch, East Mersea, Fingringhoe, Layer de la Haye, Messing cum Inworth, Winstred Hundred. All seats in these parishes are up for election.
There is also a by-election for two vacant seats in Wivenhoe Town Council.
