Play areas at the park

The play areas are spread over three locations leading from the High Woods Country Park Visitor Centre car park, incorporating natural elements like wooden beams mixed with traditional play equipment

Much of the play equipment was replaced in December 2023 with exciting new kit.

It has been designed for children of all abilities, from toddlers through to young teenagers.

When using the play areas you should follow the advice below:

  • For you and everyone's safety, do not bring dogs, glass or alcohol into the area.
  • The play areas are no smoking and no litter areas – use the bins around the car park and visitor centre or take your litter home.
  • Enjoy the area by respecting other users.
  • Help us keep the site in good condition by not misusing the equipment.
  • Follow any additional onsite signage giving guidance and safety advice.
