This year has been challenging for us all, including our Council, as our energy bills and pay and other costs rose. We have faced up to an unprecedented budget gap and have started to make some big changes and savings, while we continue to deliver services to a high standard. We continue to do all that we can to support those most in need and affected by the soaring cost of living. This year has also been a positive year of preparing for the future, welcoming city status, the celebrations ahead and the opportunities it will bring.
We have welcomed your views to see how we can do things better, whilst continuing to invest in our future, in our city and the needs of residents. Securing millions in government and prospective private sector money. Working towards a yet better quality of life, for those living, working or visiting our great city.
