Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Carol Buick and Abimbola Bolaji Temitope have ceased to be members and casual vacancies exist in the office of Councillor for Marks Tey Parish Council.
An election to fill the vacancies will be held if request in writing for such an election is made by ten electors registered within the electoral area and received by the Proper Office of Colchester City Council, by no later than Thursday 15 October 2026. Otherwise, Marks Tey Parish Council will fill the vacancies by co-option.
